December 18 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's consumer price index (CPI) grew by 0.5% year-on-year in November, after rising by the same rate in October, the national statistical office said.
On a monthly comparison basis, Montenegro's consumer prices went up by 0.1% in November, after rising by 0.5% October, the statistical office said in a statement on Tuesday.
The biggest impact on the positive monthly inflation rate came from the rise in prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages (up 2.9%), hotels and restaurants (up 1.3%) and other goods and services (up 1.1%).
On the other hand, the biggest monthly decline in prices in November was recorded in the segment of clothing and footwear, down by 3.4%.
In 2018, Montenegro's CPI grew by 2.6% after rising by 2.4% in 2017.
