PODGORICA (Montenegro), October 8 (SeeNews) – Montenegro's power transmission system operator Crnogorski Elektroprenosni Sistem (CGES) [MNG:PREN] said it is inviting bids for monthly available transmission capacity (ATC) of up to 143 MW for exports to Serbia for November delivery.
The auction for transmission capacities for exports to Serbia in November 2018 will be held on October 11, CGES said in a statement last week.
The price for allocated capacity cannot be lower than 0.10 euro ($0.12) per MWh, CGES said.
All unused monthly capacity will be offered at daily auctions, the company added.
Montenegro is a renewable energy leader in Europe, with more than 40% of its domestic electricity consumption coming from clean energy sources.
