PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 13 (SeeNews) – Montenegro's power transmission system operator Crnogorski Elektroprenosni Sistem (CGES) [MNG:PREN] said it is inviting bids for monthly available transmission capacity (ATC) of up to 175 MW for exports to Serbia for December delivery.
The auction for transmission capacities for exports to Serbia in December 2018 will be held on November 14, CGES said in a statement last week.
The price for allocated capacity cannot be lower than 0.10 euro ($0.11) per MWh, CGES said.
All unused monthly capacity will be offered at daily auctions, the company added.
Montenegro is a renewable energy leader in Europe, with more than 40% of its domestic electricity consumption coming from clean energy sources.
