November 26 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's central government debt decreased to 3.093 billion euro ($3.518 billion) in September from 3.105 billion euro at the end of June, according to finance ministry data.
The debt was equivalent to 67.2% of the gross domestic product (GDP) projected for 2018, down from 70.1% at the end of June, data posted on the website of the finance ministry shows.
The foreign debt of Montenegro rose to 2.7 billion euro at the end of September from 2.644 billion euro in June 2018, while internal debt fell to 393.4 million euro from 460.6 million euro.
The largest creditor of the Montenegrin government is the Export-Import Bank of China (EXIM Bank) with 455.8 million euro, followed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) with 192.6 million euro of debt.
