November 24 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Montenegro in the third quarter of 2022 rose to 104 from 66 in the like period last year, the country's Statistics Office said on Thursday.
Compared to the previous quarter, the number of issued building permits rose by 21%, the Statistics Office said in a statement.
The permits issued in the second quarter covered the construction of 662 new buildings with a total area of 44,654 square metres (sq m), compared to 159 new buildings with an area of 10,156 sq m which received building permits in the same period of 2021, preliminary data indicated.
In 2021, the number of building permits issued in Montenegro declined to 190 from 224 in the previous year.
