May 26 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Montenegro in the first quarter of 2017 rose by an annual 48% to 249, but declined by 17% quarter-on-quarter, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Based on the building permits issued in the January-March period, the number of planned dwellings fell by 16.6% on the year to 690. However, it declined by 6.5% quarter-on-quarter, the statistical office said in a statement.
The total floor area of planned dwellings increased to 47,474 sq m, up by 19.1% year-on-year.
