November 23 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Montenegro in the third quarter of 2018 fell by an annual 79% to 55 and by 46.1% quarter-on-quarter, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Based on the building permits issued in the July-September period, the number of planned dwellings declined by 42.3% on the year to 870. On a quarterly basis, it grew by 18.7%, the statistical office said in a statement.
The total floor area of planned dwellings increased to 48,444 sq m, up 16.4% year-on-year.
In 2017, the number of building permits issued in Montenegro rose by 6.8% to 1,050.
