August 26 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Montenegro in the second quarter of 2019 fell by an annual 50.1% to 50 but rose by 19% quarter-on-quarter, the country's statistical office said.
Based on the building permits issued in the April-June period, the number of planned dwellings declined by 67.6% on the year to 274. On a quarterly basis, it decreased by 47.6%, the statistical office said in a statement.
The total floor area of planned dwellings increased to 17,191 sq m, down 58.7% year-on-year.
In 2018, the number of building permits issued in Montenegro declined to 295 from 1,050 in the previous year.
