PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 15 (SeeNews) – Montenegro's government said local company Bemax has completed the construction of a section of the Berane - Petnjica road in the country's east, after an investment of some 3.4 million euro ($4 million).
The project involved the reconstruction of a 1.6 km long road stretch and the construction of 2 km of road, Montenegrin prime minister Dusko Markovic said during the official ceremony marking the opening of the section, according to a government press release issued on Tuesday.
Next year, the government will invest an additional 7 million euro in the reconstruction of 12.4 km of the Berane - Petnjica road, Markovic said.
The government will call a tender for the reconstruction of the 12.4 km section in December, the director of the transport division of the Montenegrin government, Savo Paraca, said.
