September 20 (SeeNews) - Household electricity consumption in Montenegro went up 1.3% on an annual basis to 128.8 million kWh in August, the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) said.
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro edged up by 0.9% in August, EPCG said in a statement.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 37.91 euro ($37.93) in August.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 70.34 euro, was paid by households in Ulcinj, while the lowest one, of 20.71 euro, was registered in the town of Pljevlja.
The Montenegrin government owns 88.7% of EPCG, followed by the company itself with 10%. The remainder belongs to smaller shareholders.
