September 23 (SeeNews) - Montenegro’s total power consumption in August rose by 25% on the year to 263.9 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 34%, of total power consumption in August, CEDIS said in a statement earlier this week.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro grew 30.7% on an annual basis to 127.2 million kWh in August, the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) said.
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro grew by 5.4% in August.
