September 16 (SeeNews) - Household electricity consumption in Montenegro grew 30.7% on an annual basis to 127.2 million kWh in August, the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) said.
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro grew by 5.4% in August, EPCG said in a statement.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 36.65 euro ($43.16) in August.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 68.66 euro, was paid by households in Ulcinj, while the lowest one, of 20.22 euro, was registered in the town of Pljevlja.
The Montenegrin government owns 88.7% of EPCG, followed by the company itself with 10%. The remainder belongs to smaller shareholders.
