PODGORICA (Montenegro), September 16 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose 1.6% year-on-year to 125.7 million kWh in August, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro grew by 10.3% in August, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 40.28 euro ($44.63) in August.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 75.03 euro, was paid by households in Ulcinj, while the lowest one, of 22.21 euro, was registered in the town of Pljevlja.
The Montenegrin government is the majority owner of EPCG with a 85.4% stake. Italian company A2A owns the remainder.
