PODGORICA (Montenegro), September 28 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro declined 22.6% year-on-year to 97.27 million kWh in August, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose by 2.5% in August, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 29.74 euro ($34.58) in August.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 38.08 euro, was paid by households in Ulcinj, while the lowest one, of 20.81 euro, was registered in the town of Berane.
The Montenegrin government owns 88.7% of EPCG, followed by the company itself with 10%. The remainder belongs to smaller shareholders.
