PODGORICA (Montenegro), May 28 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s total power consumption in April declined by 4% on the year to 188.9 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the country's total power consumption fell by 18% in April, CEDIS said in a statement on Wednesday.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 38%, of total power consumption in April, CEDIS said.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose 12% year-on-year to 101 million kWh in April, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro fell by 13% in April, figures showed.
