PODGORICA (Montenegro), May 14 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose 12% year-on-year to 101 million kWh in April, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro fell by 13% in April, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 31.47 euro ($34.0) in April.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 36.96 euro, was paid by households in Podgorica, while the lowest one, of 15.66 euro, was registered in the town of Zabljak.
The Montenegrin government is the majority owner of EPCG with a 88.1% stake. Italian company A2A owns the remainder.
