PODGORICA (Montenegro), May 11 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro fell by 11.9% month-on-month to 91.7 million kWh in April, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) on Thursday.
On a year-on-year basis, household electricity consumption was up 5.4% in April, figures show.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 29.78 euro ($32.35) last month.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, 35.05 euro, was paid by households in Kotor, while the lowest one, 17.72 euro, was registered in the town of Zabljak.
The Montenegrin government is the majority owner of EPCG with a 57% stake. Italian company A2A owns 41.75%.
