July 18 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's consumer price index (CPI) grew by 13.5% year-on-year in June, after rising by 11.7% in May, the national statistical office said on Monday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Montenegro's consumer prices went up by 1.8% in June, after increasing by 0.8% May, the statistical office said in a statement.
The monthly inflation rate was backed by the increase in prices of restaurants and hotels (up 7.6%), housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (up 4.4%), furnishing, household equipment and routine household maintenance (up 2.0%) and health (up 2.0%).
On the other hand, the prices of clothing and footwear went down 1.8% on the month in June.
