December 12 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's consumer price index (CPI) grew by 2.0% year-on-year in November, after rising by 1.9% in October, the national statistical office said.
Consumer prices went up by 0.2% on the month in November after decreasing by 0.2% a month earlier, the statistical office said in a statement on Tuesday.
The biggest monthly rise in prices in November, of 0.7%, was recorded in the segment of food and non-alcoholic beverages, followed by prices of utilities, recreation and culture, and other services, of 0.2%.
On the other hand, the costs of transport fell by 0.7%, and of furniture declined by 0.2% month-on-month in November.
In 2017, Montenegro's CPI rose by 2.4% after falling by 0.2% in 2016.
