March 13 (SeeNews) - Montenegrin company Adriatic Capital has expressed interest in the development of renewable energy projects in Azerbaijan, the Azeri energy ministry said on Wednesday.
Adriatic Capital is analysing the areas with high potential for renewable energy in Azerbaijan and is interested in participating in wind and solar energy projects in the country, the company's CEO Marko Vujovic said, as quoted in a statement by the Azeri energy ministry.
During a meeting in Baku, Azerbaijan's deputy energy minister Elnur Soltanov informed Vujovic about the efforts of the Azeri government to encourage renewable energy investment, the ministry said.
Adriatic Capital provides consulting, investment and asset management services related to prime investment opportunities in Montenegro, with a focus on tourism, real estate, energy, and other related industries.
