PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 16 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's consumer price index (CPI) rose 3.8% on an annual basis in October, after growing by 2.9% in September, the national statistical office said.

On a monthly comparison basis, Montenegro's consumer prices went up 0.7% in October, after increasing by 0.5% in September, the statistical office said in a statement on Monday.

The biggest monthly rise in prices in October was recorded in the segment of clothing and footwear, up 8.3%.

On the other hand, the prices in the restaurants and hotels segment declined by 4.5%.
