November 2 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investments (FDI) in Montenegro in the nine months through September rose by 140% year-on-year to 708 million euro ($1.025 billion), preliminary data from the country's Economic Development Ministry indicated on Friday.
The Adriatic country of some 620,000 people attracted 659.3 million euro in FDI in the first eight months of the current year. FDI totalled 644.3 million euro in 2006.
