May 6 (SeeNews) - Montenegro’s railway infrastructure operator Zeljeznicka Infrastruktura Crne Gore has invited bids for the emergency rehabilitation of two railway stations, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said.
The rehabilitation works are divided into two lots – one for the rehabilitation of the Niksic railway station, and the other for the Ostrog station, the EBRD said earlier this week on its website. The two stations lie on the railway line that connects the capital Podgorica with the northern town of Niksic.
Zeljeznicka Infrastruktura Crne Gore (ZICG) will finance the rehabilitation works with an EBRD loan.
Tenders are invited for one or more lots as each lot must be priced separately, the EBRD said. Tenders for more than one lot may offer discounts and such discounts will be considered in the comparison of tenders. All tenders must be accompanied by tender security of 30,000 euro ($43,600) for the first lot and of 15,000 euro for the second one.
The bidding deadline expires on June 21.
Bidders should have had in the past five years an annual turnover of 4.0 million euro for the first lot and of 2.0 million euro for the second one. They should also have completed at least three similar projects in the last five years, among other requirements.
