PODGORICA (Montenegro), December 13 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's government is inviting bids for the construction of ski lifts and tracks in the winter resorts of Kolasin 1600 and Zarski, it said on Thursday.
The project, with a total budget of 18 million euro ($20.5 million), envisages the construction of six-person chairlifts with a capacity for 2,600 skiers per hour and tracks with a total length of 18.5 kilometres, the government said in a statement.
The government plans to build ski tracks with a length of 9.5 kilometres in Kolasin 1600 and with a length of 9 kilometres in Zarski, it said.
The deadline for the preparation of project documentation is six months after the signing of the contract, while the construction works will take a year to complete, the government added.
