PODGORICA (Montenegro), December 5 (SeeNews) – Montenegro's foreign debt totalled 1.58 billion euro ($1.9 billion) at the end of June, up by 10.5% from the end of 2013, finance ministry data indicated.
Montenegro's end-June foreign debt was equal to 45% of the country’s estimated gross domestic product (GDP), the finance ministry said in a quarterly macroeconomic report.
At the end of June, the total state debt of Montenegro stood at 2.02 billion euro, or 57.5% of the country’s estimated GDP.
Montenegro’s foreign debt rose to 1.43 billion euro at the end of 2013, 10.7% up from a year earlier.
