May 26 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's revenues from tourist services reached a record 119 million euro ($127.6 million) in the first quarter of 2023, tourism minister Goran Djurovic said on Friday.
Tourism revenue amounted to 45 million euro in the first quarter of last year, Djurovic said in a Twitter post, quoting data from Montenegro’s central bank.
The previous record was set in 2019 when first-quarter revenues from tourism came in 47 million euro.
Foreign tourist arrivals to Montenegro increased by 80% year-on-year in March, the statistical office said last month.
