April 8 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Montenegro Airlines signed an agreement to wet-lease for a Boeing B 737-300 aircraft from Romanian low-cost carrier Blue Air, its executive director Zivko Banjevic said.
The agreement will be in force between April 15 and October 15, Banjevic said as quoted by Montenegrin daily Vijesti on Sunday.
Blue Air is currently performing a technical check on the aircraft and will complete it in May. Until then, it will provide a Boeing B 737-500 aircraft to Montenegro Airlines, Banjevic said.
The Boeing B 737-300 aircraft of Blue Air, manufactured in 1991, has a capacity to transport 148 passengers, Vijesti said.
Montenegro Airlines operates five own aircraft and will service a total of 17 regular destinations from the airports of Tivat and Podgorica during the summer season.
