May 15 (SeeNews) - Montenegro Airlines handled 130,010 passengers in the first four months of 2019, which is 7,500 more than in the like period a year earlier, the flag carrier said.
The company operated a total of 1,824 flights in the four months through April, up by 112, with an average load factor of 61%, according to a statement posted on the website of Montenegro Airlines on Tuesday.
The route that recorded the highest increase in passenger numbers - 3,000 more than a year earlier - was Podgorica-Belgrade, the company said.
Montenegro Airlines narrowed its loss to 1.97 million euro ($2.2 million) in 2018, as the number of its passengers rose to a record-high 645,000, the flag carrier's executive director Zivko Banjevic said last month.
