May 7 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Montenegro Airlines has extended to May 31 the suspension of all of its flights due to the coronavirus crisis in Europe, it said.
"Due to the coronavirus situation, the current ban on commercial air traffic in Montenegro, and travel restrictions in other countries, Montenegro Airlines has extended the suspension of traffic until May 31, 2020, including that date," the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Montenegro Airlines suspended all of its flights on March 16, shortly after the government closed the country's borders for foreign nationals to prevent the spread of the disease on its territory. The suspension was originally planned to be in force until April 30 inclusive but the company subsequently extended it to May 7 and later to May 15.
