PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 4 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin oil products distributor Jugopetrol [MNG:JGPK] said its net profit soared to some 5.0 million euro ($6.8 million) in the first nine months of 2013 from 1.9 million euro a year ago.
Operating income fell 7.1% to 144.5 million euro through September while operating costs decreased 6.6% to 139.7 million euro, Jugopetrol said in an income statement filed with the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
Jugopetrol is based in Kotor. Since 2002 it has been a member of Greece's Hellenic Petroleum Group. The company is active in the retail and distribution of petroleum products and the wholesale of petroleum products through the operation of a storage facility at the Adriatic port of Bar and filling terminals at the airports of Tivat and Podgorica.
