April 3 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index recorded back-to-back winning sessions after closing higher on Friday supported by car battery maker Monabt [BUL:5MB].
The SOFIX, which tracks 15 companies, rose 0.39% to 423.34 points on Friday. Monbat led gainers among blue chips with a 4.1% rise to 4.06 levs.

The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 0.20% to 90.65 points. The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, also added 0.20%, to 436.83 points.
Both indices benefited from a 6.3% rise in the share price of construction company Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57].
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, fell 0.11% to 125.54 points.
Total regulated market trading turnover amounted to 1.1 million levs on Friday.
