November 15 (SeeNews) - Moldova's trade deficit widened by 1.3% on the year to $2.25 billion (2.04 billion euro) in the first nine months of the year, the country's statistics bureau said on Friday.
Moldova's exports rose 3.4%, while imports increased by 2.3% through September, the statistics office said in a statement.
In September, exports rose by 15.2% on the year to $238.8 million, while imports rose by an annual 5.9% to $501.7 million.
Moldova's trade deficit widened by 27.1% on the year to $3.057 billion in 2018.
