November 22 (SeeNews) - Moldova's retail sales rose by an annual 7.2% in the first nine months of 2018, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
Services sales rose by 10.7% on the year in the first nine months of the year, the national office of statistics said in a statement.
In September alone, retail sales rose by 6.3% on the year and were 4.1% lower month-on-month.
In 2017, Moldova's retail sales fell by an annual 4.6%.
Retail sales figures do not include trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles.
