January 16 (SeeNews) - Moldova's trade deficit narrowed 2.9% on the year to $1.77 billion (1.68 billion euro) in the eleven months through November, as exports rose and imports fell, figures from the statistics office showed on Friday.
Moldova's exports rose 2.7%, while imports declined 0.1% in the eleven-month period, the statistics office said in a statement.
In November alone, exports rose 30.3% on the year to $217.9 million, while imports were up 5.7% to $353.7 million.
