January 20 (SeeNews) - Moldova's retail sales fell by an annual 1.4% in the first eleven months of 2022, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Services sales rose 10.8% on the year in January-November, the national office of statistics said in a statement.
In November alone, retail sales fell by 2% on the year and were 6% lower month-on-month.
Service sales in November were up 8.8% lower on the year and dropped by 5.4% on the month.
Retail sales figures do not include trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles.
Moldova's retail sales rose by an annual 12% in 2021.
