September 15 (SeeNews) - Moldova's trade deficit widened by 10% on the year to $2.48 billion (2.48 billion euro) in the first seven months of 2022, the country's statistics bureau said on Thursday.
Moldova's exports were 67.3% higher on the year, while imports increased by 33.5% in the first seven months of the year, the statistics office said in a statement.
In July alone, exports were 40.5% higher on the year to $338.3 million, while imports rose 35.4% to $761.2 million. July trade deficit rose by an annual 31.6% to $422.9 million.
