June 14 (SeeNews) - Moldova's trade deficit widened by 4.4% on the year to $931.9 million (825.4 million euro) in the first four months of the year, the country's statistics bureau said on Friday.
Moldova's exports rose 8.1%, while imports increased by 6.2% through April, the statistics office said in a statement.
In April alone, exports grew 8% on the year to 215.8 million euro, while imports rose 15.9% to 515.4 million euro.
Moldova's trade deficit widened by 27.1% on the year to $3.057 billion in 2018.
