July 12 (SeeNews) - Moldova's industrial output rose 7% year-on-year in May due to a strong advance in mining, following a 9.3% drop in April, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
The National Bureau of Statistics, BNS, provided no month-on-month comparison figures.
In the first five months of 2017, Moldova's industrial output rose 0.3% on the year.
The country's industrial production increased 0.9% in 2016.
