July 13 (SeeNews) - Moldovan airline HiSky said on Thursday that it aims to carry one million passengers in 2023.
In the first six months of the year, the company transported 537,000 passengers, as compared to 194,000 passengers in the same period last year, as its fleet grew to comprise eight aircraft, the airline said in a press release.
August is expected to be the the busiest month in the history of the company, which began operations in 2020.
HiSky operates international flights from Moldova's capital Chisinau and the Romanian cities of Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi and Baia Mare. Across all its aircraft, the company has a capacity of nearly 1500 seats.
