August 19 (SeeNews) - Moldova's retail sales edged up by an annual 0.6% in the six months of 2022, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Services sales rose 15.5% on the year in January-June, the national office of statistics said in a statement.
In June alone, retail sales fell by 4.1% on the year and were 3.5% higher month-on-month.
Service sales in June were up 8.1% higher on the year and 19.4% higher on the month.
Retail sales figures do not include trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles.
Moldova's retail sales rose by an annual 12% in 2021.
