December 30 (SeeNews) - Moldovan low-cost air carrier FlyOne said on Monday it will launch a new route - from the country's capital Chisinau to Russia's Saint Petersburg starting July 6.
Fly One will operate the flight two times a week, on Mondays and Fridays, the air carrier said in a press release.
"The low rates will create a lot of possibilities to visit one of the most beautiful cities in Russia, as well as to further stimulate tourism by offering flights to most requested destinations," FlyOne managing director Mircea Maleca said.
The new destination is the 14th in the company's portfolio after Frankfurt, Tel Aviv, London, Moscow, Parma, Verona, Dublin, Lisbon, Paris, Antalya, Heraklion, Sharm El-Sheikh and Bodrum.
FlyOne was founded in 2015 as a cabin crew and flight crew services operator by Romanian training organisation Fly Level, which operates aviation training centres in Chisinau and Romania's Bucharest. In May 2016, the company was transformed into a low-cost air carrier.
