January 30 (SeeNews) - Moldovan fintech startup Fagura said that it raised 780,000 euro ($851,060) in a second investment round held on the London-based platform Seedrs, which it will use to expand in Romania and develop the first digital banking services on the platform.
More than 280 investors took part in the round which attracted 195% more funds than the company targeted, Fagura said in a press release last week.
"We were able to raise twice as much funding from our community compared to the first round, and these resources will help us grow faster in times of uncertainty" said Tudor Darie, CEO of Fagura.
Fagura was launched in 2019 and is an alternative investment platform for loans, allowing individuals and companies from Moldova gain access to financing solutions.
