August 15 (SeeNews) - Moldova's water utility company Apa-Canal Chisinau has invited tenders for a contract for the supply of pressure reducing valves, fittings, pressure/flow meters and related services, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said on Wednesday.
The delivery period is expected to be four months from the contract signature data, although some goods may have to be delivered within two or three months, the EBRD said in a statement.
The tender's closing date is October 14.
The tender is part of the Chisinau Water Development Programme, which has a total estimated value of 61.8 million euro ($69.9 million).
Apa-Canal Chisinau intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from the EBRD, a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and a grant from EU’s Neighborhood Investment Facility (NIF) to finance the programme.
