January 7 (SeeNews) - The foreign exchange reserves held by Moldova's central bank, BNM, decreased by $19.4 million net in December, reaching $2.995 billion (2.627 billion euro), BNM said on Monday.
Foreign exchange inflows totalled $22.7 million in December, BNM said in a monthly report.
Those inflows represented mainly credits and grants into the finance ministry's accounts for investment projects amounting to $6.89 million.
Foreign exchange outflows totalled $42.1 million in December, representing mainly depreciation by $21.2 million of currencies in Moldova's foreign exchange reserves relative to the US dollar.
