July 28 (SeeNews) - Moldova issued 1,598 building permits in the first six months of 2023, marking an annual decrease of 0.7%, the national statistical office, BNS, said on Thursday.
Building permits issued for construction projects in rural areas constituted 56.7% of all building permits in the first half of 2023, increasing by 5.6% on the year.
Building permits for residential projects represented 67.5% of all permits issued in January-June, decreasing by an annual 1.5%.
Moldova issued 3,394 building permits in 2022, down 17.6% on 2021.
