April 27 (SeeNews) - Moldova issued 658 building permits in the January-March period, down 15.4% year-on-year, the national statistics office said on Friday.
The number of building permits issued for residential buildings decreased in all regions except for Gagauzia, the office said in a statement.
About 57% of the total of permits issued for buildings during January-March are for urban areas.

The statistics office provided no figures for the value of the projects for which were granted permits.
Moldova issued 3,916 building permits in 2017, down 0.8% year-on-year.
