July 30 (SeeNews) - Moldova issued 1,560 building permits in the January-June period, down 15.1% year-on-year, the national statistics office said on Monday.
The number of building permits issued for residential buildings decreased in all regions except for the north, the office said in a statement.
About 53.8% of the total of permits issued for buildings during January-June are for urban areas.

The statistics office provided no figures for the value of the projects for which were granted permits.
Moldova issued 3,916 building permits in 2017, down 0.8% year-on-year.
