May 2 (SeeNews) - Moldova issued 573 building permits in the January-March period, down 12.9% year-on-year, the national statistics office said on Thursday.
The number of building permits issued for residential buildings decreased in all regions except for the south and UTA Gagauzia, the office said in a statement.
About 60.9% of the total of permits issued for buildings during January-March are for urban areas.

The statistics office provided no figures for the value of the projects for which were granted permits.
Moldova issued 3,266 building permits in 2018, down 16.6% year-on-year.
