October 29 (SeeNews) - Moldova issued 2,533 building permits in the January-September period, down 12.4% year-on-year, the national statistics office said on Monday.
The number of building permits issued for residential buildings decreased in all regions except for the south and Chisinau, the office said in a statement.
About 52.1% of the total of permits issued for buildings during January-September are for urban areas.

The statistics office provided no figures for the value of the projects for which were granted permits.
Moldova issued 3,916 building permits in 2017, down 0.8% year-on-year.
