February 17 (SeeNews) - Moldova's trade deficit narrowed by 4.3% on the year to $2.930 billion (2.428 billion euro) in 2020, the country's statistics bureau said on Wednesday.
Moldova's exports fell 10.6%, while imports decreased by 7.3% in 2020, the statistics office said in a statement.
In December alone, exports were flat on the year to $218.3 million, while imports rose 5.1% to $567.2 million, leading to a deficit of $348.9 million.
